On this project, we were tasked with assisting with colour selection. Using fabrics and various surfaces, such as 19th century reclaimed tiles, and antique furniture as reference. We were responsible for the complete finishing of the bespoke oak bar in “The Foresters Bar”. Using various stains, varnishes, lacquers and traditional techniques, we were able to create a truly authentic looking 19th century ‘boozer’. The walls lacquered in sumptuous red, the Elk Room in green. The woodwork and remaining surfaces all being glazed.
